These cartridge systems are designed to purify gases used for FID or ECD detectors.
The FID Gas Purifier treats both air and hydrogen. It includes two combination hydrocarbon/moisture removing cartridges on a wall mount manifold. It can be bench mounted using included legs. Each cartridge has inlet and outlet fittings so that the air and hydrogen supply are purified simultaneously. Replacement cartridges are available; depleted cartridges can also be returned to CRS for regeneration. Each cartridge has a capacity of 0.72g water to an outlet of 1ppm, and 12g hydrocarbons as n-butane. Maximum pressure 200psi.
The ECD Gas Purifier consists of a high capacity oxygen cartridge in series with a moisture cartridge, to purify the argon/methane (or nitrogen/methane gas mixture) typically used with ECD. Capacity is 1 liter of oxygen at ambient conditions, and 1.4g water to an output level of 1ppm. Maximum pressure 200psi.
