Guard columns protect against contamination and pressure rise by column plugging. Cartridges are replaced as needed simply by unscrewing the housing and placing in a new cartridge. Cartridges are 1 cm in length with 3mm id, and are available with different packings to match the packing of the analytical column you are already using. All packings are 5 micron except phenyl, 7 micron.
