These quartz connectors will join columns from 0.25 mm to 0.53 mm ID.
Procedure: Cut the capillary column with a ceramic column scribe; be sure the end is cut squarely. Insert the column into the appropriate leg of the connector to make a snug fit. Heat in the GC oven under carrier gas flow for one hour at 250°C, to fuse the column's polyimide coating to the wall of the union. For a stronger physical attachment we re4commend using polyimide sealing resin.
