Syringe Filters

Syringe Filters
CRS offers a wide range of syringe filters for all your sample clean up needs. They fit all luer lock syringes. Filter housings are made from polypropylene for resistance to most solvents. Two membrane materials are available; nylon (hydrophilic) for general filtration of aqueous samples and most solvents (not recommended for strong acids), and PTFE for gases, air and virtually all solvents, including highly corrosive acids and bases, and chlorinated solvents. PTFE can be used with aqueous samples by pre-wetting with methanol.

4 mm size: These are designed for low sample hold-up; hold up is less than 10 ul. They are useful for small-quantity samples where sample loss is critical. 100/pk.

13 mm size: For general laboratory sampling. Filters have higher sample capacity than the 4 mm size. With air purge, the hold up volume is less than 28 ul. Maximum pressure for filtering is 75 psi. PTFE membranes can be used for venting and degassing. 100/pk.

25 mm size: These are good for all-around lab use. The 25 mm diameter allows greater throughput when hold-up of some sample is not critical. Max. 75 psi. 100/pk.
