Endura-Seals are the CRS alternative to typical silicone-rubber injection port septa for gas chromatography. They work in a 2 part sealing system that includes the septa and the sealing nut.

The duckbill valve in the Endura-Seal is much more resilient to needle wear and tear than the traditional pierced septa. It allows the needle to glide through the valve without damaging the integrity of the septa. While CRS premium septa are already designed to avoid coring (particles in the liner), the Endura-Seals go a step further to virtually eliminate this burden. These features make the Endura-Seal septa the optimum choice for automated analysis that require long run times.

The Endura-Seals are available in 11 mm and Shimadzu style kits. Each kit includes 1 sealing nut and 2 septa.

Endura-Seals have the potential to last for thousands of injections during long run times. This life-time estimate is of course subject to fluctuations based on specifics of the application.
